Our students graduate from CJ Healthcare College and can start working at daycare centres, child care centres, kindergarten, agencies and other settings where early childhood education services are provided.
All our vocational programs are regulated and approved by the Superintendent of Career Colleges under Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005
Short, effective programs allow you to earn your diploma in as little as 4 to 12 months.

Additionally, graduates can bridge to become an EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR (ECE) at Canadore College. The program was developed by National Association of Career Colleges and partnered with Canadore College to offer an ECE opportunity.

What is the difference between an ECA and an ECE?
An Early Childcare Assistant (ECA) works alongside Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) in childcare settings. The ECA diploma prepares you to support ECEs in planning and delivering programs for young children.
Where can I work after completing the ECA program?
ECA graduates work in licensed childcare centres, preschools, before-and-after school programs, and family resource centres across Ontario.
How long is the ECA program?
The Early Childcare Assistant diploma program is approximately 12 months at CJ Healthcare College's Toronto campuses.
Is the ECA diploma recognized in Ontario?
